Now in its second year, the Awards recognise the very best of digital in Ireland and reward businesses, organisations, people and innovations.
Lorraine Higgins, Secretary General of Digital Business Ireland said:
“In the first round, we received 400 applications across 19 categories and the standard was extraordinarily high. The exceptional calibre of follow-up submissions made by Schoolbooks.ie and their fellow finalists meant that the second-round judging panel had an even harder task at discerning who should be named winner and runner-up.”
Paul McCann, Managing Director of Schoolbooks.ie said:
“I am incredibly proud of our team at Schoolbooks.ie for the high standard of work that they do, and for the excellent service that we provide to our customers. We are truly honoured and humbled to receive these accolades from Digital Business Ireland and permanent tsb, and to be recognised amongst all the other exceptional finalists. I would also like to acknowledge the work of our web agency partners, Milk Bottle Labs, for their help over the past number of years.”
In light of Covid, the awards were held virtually on Thursday, 3rd February 2022, however, the awards will be given in person at the National Digital Awards luncheon to be held in Dublin on Thursday, May 19th with an address by the Minister for Small Business, Damien English T.D.
