Bright Stars Quizzes contains cross-curricular, photocopiable quizzes for learning, group work and fun, written by two experienced Irish primary school teachers.

The 3rd Class book contains:

• 50 easily photocopiable individual quizzes (with 10 questions per quiz);
• four end-of-term general knowledge quizzes (perfect for revising a term’s work through a fun, collaborative group work effort);
• three blockbuster quizzes;
• end-of-year curriculum quiz;
• 50 fun facts spread through the book, so that pupils can learn interesting facts and can add them to their SESE copybooks; and
• termly planners for the different months, outlining the curriculum areas the questions are based on.

The book can be used for class lessons, homework or for quiz competitions within a school. It can be used for independent work or for pair/group work. The quizzes would be excellent for challenging early finishers, as the questions entail revision of concepts covered at each class level and would encourage pupils to research the answers to some of the general knowledge questions. Equally, a ‘quiz’ could be given as a homework assignment because it revises English, maths, SESE etc.
